CPA Jacinta Munguti

Jacinta Munguti is a CPA with over 12 years of experience in the field. CPA Jacinta began their career in 2009 as an Investments Clerk at Sanduku Sacco Limited. In 2011, they joined East African Packaging Industries as a Management Accountant, where they prepared monthly management accounts and quarterly board packs for board meetings. CPA Jacinta also analyzed monthly actual vs budgeted expense variances. In addition, they acted as a Payable Accountant, receiving, coding, and processing supplier invoices in the ERP, processing payments, and maintaining the fixed assets register. In 2017, they joined Copia Global as a Finance Manager, where they implemented a cost optimisation initiative on staff transport that saved the company over 4 million in the last quarter of 2021. CPA Jacinta was also involved in the formulation of the accounting policies, procedures manual, and company tax policy. Additionally, they were involved in setting up a new subsidiary company in Uganda, overseeing the finance processes, chart of accounts (COA) setup, training of the new team, and providing support thereafter.

Jacinta Munguti obtained their Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) in Finance and Banking from Moi University in 2015. CPA Jacinta also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB).
