Matt Dugan

Matt Dugan is an experienced project manager currently serving at Copia Power since May 2023. Previously, Dugan held the position of Principal at SPOWER DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC from May 2020 to June 2023. Dugan contributed significantly as the Southland Project Director and Vice President at The AES Corporation from November 2017 to May 2020, overseeing a portfolio that included major combined cycle gas turbine power plants and battery energy storage systems. Matt Dugan's career includes project management roles at Bechtel Corporation, where responsibilities included leading the Hummel Station Project, as well as managing renewable power projects and development initiatives spanning from July 1999 to November 2017. Dugan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, completed in 1979.
