Senior RF Engineer - SME at Copper Mountain Technologies

Brian Walker has extensive work experience in the field of RF engineering and design. Brian has worked at various companies throughout their career, starting with SYSTRON DONNER INERTIAL DIVISION in 1976 as an Electronic Design Engineer. Brian then moved on to Systron Donner, where they held the role of Design Engineer and Software Dev Manager from 1980 to 1987, supervising a team of engineers and specialists.

Following that, Brian worked as an Engineering Manager at Nalorac Cryogenics from 1987 to 1990, overseeing the design and manufacturing of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance products. Brian then joined Motorola as a Senior RF Design Engineer, providing technical support to customers and visiting them across the United States.

In 2000, Brian started working at CTS Electronic Components as an Applications Engineer, responsible for developing sales in new market areas and serving high-profile customers such as Motorola, Lucent, and Tellabs. Brian then worked at Bird Technologies Group as the Manager of the RF Design Group from 2002 to 2017. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the successful launch of the Signal Booster 2 product, which generated significant sales revenue.

Currently, Brian is employed at Copper Mountain Technologies, where they initially served as a Senior RF Engineer - SME from 2018 to 2021. Brian then transitioned into the role of Engineering Manager, RF Design in 2021. As of January 2022, they hold the position of Senior RF Engineer - SME and continues to contribute their expertise in the field.

Brian Walker attended Rio Americano High School from 1969 to 1974, where they studied Quantum Electrodynamics. From 1990 to 2000, they pursued a degree in Physics at The University of New Mexico.
