Cecil Sanford

Cecil Sanford has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. Starting from 2005, they were the ICWA Coordinator at the Mentasta Traditional Council until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Tribal Administrator at the same organization. In 2013, they joined the Cheesh'na Tribal Council as the EPA Director, a position they held until 2014. In 2018, they became the Tribal Administrator at the Cheesh'na Tribal Council, and later that year, they also worked as the Director of Behavioral Health at the Copper River Native Association.
