Bill Petersen

Bill Petersen is a Co-Founder at Copperband Tech. Bill has over 8 years of experience in Information Technology and has worked as an IT System Administrator for the City of Hopkinsville, where they were responsible for server infrastructure monitoring and maintenance, Telecom and unified communications, as well as end level support for the Fire, EMS, and Public Works departments.

Bill has also worked as an Information Technology Consultant, Solutions Technician, and Client Assistance Specialist for Wright Technology Solutions, where they provided technical support and solutions to clients.

Bill’s significant accomplishments include design and implementation of the City’s Virtual infrastructure, structured cabling oversite of the new City Hall and the Police Department’s Public Safety building, Replacement and implementation of multiple department’s critical software.

Bill Petersen has an A.A.S. in Information Technology from the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, as well as certification from CompTIA in Healthcare IT Technician and A+, certification from Hopkinsville Community College in Microsoft Networking MCSA and Information Tech Fundamentals, and certification from CompTIA in A+ Continued Education and Network+ Certified CE. Bill also has a Dell PartnerDirect certification in Networking Technical Specialty.
