Mark Mooney

Mark Mooney is Vice President, Underwriting Systems and Product.

He joined CopperPoint in 2019 as Vice President & Head of Underwriting, California, and was promoted to Vice President, Underwriting Systems & Technology in 2021. Mooney is responsible for managing the design and implementation of automation solutions for policy systems as well as the development of the overall underwriting product strategy and implementation.

Prior to joining CopperPoint, Mooney held leadership positions at Union Standard Insurance Group (W.R. Berkley Corporation) and QBE North America. He also held positions at Foremost Business Insurance and Auto Owners Insurance Company.

He holds a B.A. Finance degree from Michigan State University and a CLSC certification.
