Peter Bamforth

Peter Bamforth has a comprehensive background in the insurance industry, starting as a Senior Underwriter at Republic Indemnity in 2003. Peter then moved on to work as a Primary Casualty Underwriter at Crum & Forster in 2007 before joining Alaska National Insurance Company in 2008. At Alaska National, they held various roles, including Underwriter, Vice President of Underwriting, and Northern California Division Manager. In 2021, they became the Vice President Of Underwriting, Western Region at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Underwriting - Large Accounts at CopperPoint Insurance Companies since 2022.

Peter Bamforth attended The Weald School from 1992 to 1998, obtaining a High School degree. Peter then pursued a BSc in Mathematics at The University of Sheffield from 1998 to 2001. In 2008, they obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, followed by the Associate in Risk Management (ARM-P) certification in 2009.
