Joel Stimson

Joel Stimson has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. Joel began their career at PitchBook Data, Inc. as a Research Associate, then moved to a Client Development Manager. In 2012, they joined Rooster Park Consulting as a Software Developer. In 2013, they became a Contract Software Engineer at Domain7. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at Kotis Design and a Senior Software Engineer at Apptentive. In 2018, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Pearsall Technologies. In 2020, they returned to Apptentive as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, they became Director of Engineering and Senior Full Stack Engineer at NextStep. Joel is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Copy.ai and an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund.

Joel Stimson attended Whitman College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a BA in Physics and Astronomy. Joel then continued their education at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2012, where they received a Certificate in Ruby Programming.
