Michal Simkovic

Michal Simkovic currently serves as Head of Design at Copy.ai, overseeing the design of a model-agnostic GTM AI platform that has achieved a remarkable 480% annual recurring revenue growth year-to-date and is the first commercial application of OpenAI's GPT model, backed by notable investors such as Sequoia, Craft, and Wing Ventures. Prior to this, Michal held the position of Head of Design at Around until its acquisition by Miro in 2022, and served as Director of Design and Design Advisor at HackerRank, where a design organization was built from the ground up. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Design Lead, contributing as a founding designer for the AWS Design System team, and positions at Circle, ZARAGUZA Digital, MONOGRAM Technologies, and InterWay. Michal holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave and has pursued continuing studies in Design Execution at Stanford University.
