Frederic Haber

VP, Senior Counsel at Copyright Clearance Center

Frederic Haber is Vice President, and Senior Counsel of Copyright Clearance Center. He is responsible for all of CCC’s legal affairs, including the legal aspects of its copyright licensing business as well as of its businesses in software tools and professional services. He has participated in the development of each of those businesses and their expansion outside the US, and he counsels senior management in the development of new products and services.

Prior to joining CCC, Fred was a senior attorney at the original corporate parent of the Macy’s chain of department stores. Before that, Fred was of counsel to the New York City-based law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, practicing intellectual property, trade regulation and antitrust law. He holds bachelor’s, master’s, and law degrees from schools of Harvard University. Fred is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut.
