Erin Opitz

Erin Opitz is an experienced animal trainer with a strong background in marine mammal care and training. Currently serving as a Trainer at Coral World Ocean Park since January 2017, Erin has also held the position of Animal Training Intern at Marineland Dolphin Adventure since August 2016. Previous roles include Animal Photo Sales at Alligator Adventure from March to August 2016 and Animal Care and Training Intern at Pirates Voyage/Squalous Inc. from September 2015 to August 2016. Erin began their practical experience in animal care as an intern at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies from May to August 2015. Erin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University, completing studies in 2016.
