Frantisek Kocun

Frantisek Kocun has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Frantisek is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Coralogix and as a Scala Developer at Ziverge, both starting in December 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Scala Developer at UpStart Commerce from September 2019 to October 2020. Frantisek also gained experience as a System and Product Developer at CEAI, Inc from September 2016 to June 2019, and as a Front End Developer at Pygmalios from March 2016 to June 2016. Frantisek has expertise in Haskell and Clojure development, which they utilized during their role as a Haskell/Clojure Developer at Retreat for Recurse Center from November 2015 to January 2016. Frantisek also worked as a Java/Scala Developer at Merchenta from November 2012 to October 2015. Additionally, they gained practical experience as a Dustman at MozgoHouse, Soft-tech business incubator from January 2012 to December 2014. Frantisek began their career as a Java Developer at PosAm in June 2007 and held this role until October 2012.

Frantisek Kocun obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Frantisek pursued further studies in microelectronics at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Frantisek Kocun also obtained certifications in various programming courses. In 2012, they completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course offered by Coursera. The following year, they completed the "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" course, also provided by Coursera.
