Shai Assia

Shai Assia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the medical device and technology sectors. As the VP of R&D at Coramaze Technologies since August 2024, Shai previously served as the Head of Medical Device Development at Clexio Biosciences, overseeing innovative projects such as the SPRACISE platform and the Oral Long Acting Release device, while also leading in-silico modeling initiatives. Prior roles include Head of Medical Devices at MobileODT, where Shai directed device strategy and partnerships, and Program Manager at SanDisk, managing SSD programs. Shai's background includes extensive project management and engineering roles at IOPtima Ltd. and operational research at Novartis, complemented by a strong educational foundation with an MBA from MIT Sloan, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
