Remco Smit

Remco Smit has been a key figure at Corbion since January 2007, holding several prominent roles including Director Finance to Manage ERP, Senior Director Financial Accounting Services, and Senior Director Finance Operations. In these positions, Remco has overseen the Finance to Manage Stream for SAP 4/Hana implementation, managed financial accounting services with a team of 50 full-time equivalents, and acted as a Finance Business Partner for Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. Additionally, Remco served as Global Supply Chain Controller, providing critical financial analysis and support for operational decisions. Prior to Corbion, Remco worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from May 2002 to December 2006. Remco holds an Executive Master of Finance and Control degree from Nyenrode Business University.
