J.d. Lyon

J.D. Lyon, CPA, has an extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. J.D. started their career as an Audit Associate at Ernst & Young, LLP in 2004 and then moved on to become a Senior Finance Analyst at Cisco Systems in 2006. J.D. Lyon then joined Connor Group in 2007, initially as a Technical Accounting Manager and later as the Director of Operations and Business Development in the Intermountain West Region. In 2011, they joined Zinfi Technologies, Inc. as the Worldwide Corporate Controller & General Manager - Americas. Most recently, J.D. Lyon worked at Corcept Therapeutics, where they held various positions including Director of Finance and Accounting, Vice President of Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer. J.D.'swork at Corcept involved the discovery, development, and commercialization of drugs, particularly for severe metabolic, oncologic, and psychiatric disorders.

J.D. Lyon, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting and business administration. In 2003, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at the same institution. Recently, in 2020, J.D. Lyon attended the Harvard Business School and completed the General Management Program (GMP) in Executive Business Administration and Management. J.D. has also earned the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
