Matt Tang is currently serving as the Client Operations Lead at Encord since April 2024. Previously, Tang held the position of Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from November 2022 to December 2023. As a member of the founding team at T8, Tang contributed to the development of Typhoon Wealth, a UK EMI license-pending startup. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes a role at WATERIG Ltd., a technology startup recognized for its work against climate change. As Head of Business Development at YBEX Limited, Tang successfully acquired one million active users and launched a FX comparison service across seven countries. Earlier positions include Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets and Liaison Officer at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Tang earned an MBA from the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Geography from The University of Hong Kong.
