Jon Bortle

Jon Bortle is a seasoned environmental and permitting professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Environmental & Permitting at Cordelio Power since March 2023, Jon has previously held key positions at RWE and Peak View Consulting LLC, where responsibilities included oversight of environmental affairs and permitting processes. Jon's career also includes leadership roles at Ecoplexus, Core Solar, and SunPower Corporation, managing permitting and project development activities. Jon began professional pursuits as a Wildlife Research Technician and has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a Management Emphasis from Northern Arizona University.
