Dr. Signe Michel

Dr. Signe Michel is a seasoned professional in private equity and healthcare investment, currently serving as Managing Director at Astorg since October 2019. In addition to this role, Dr. Michel holds a position on the Board of Directors for Corden Pharma since August 2022 and has previously served as a Board Director for several organizations, including FNZ Group, Hyperion Insurance Group, and Datamars SA. Dr. Michel's extensive experience in private equity includes a role as Director of Private Equity at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and as a Healthcare Private Equity Investor at Permira. Prior to entering private equity, Dr. Michel was a Senior Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, focusing on healthcare and financial institutions. Dr. Michel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Neuroscience from the University of Zurich and Justus Liebig University Giessen.
