Svetlana Burova

Svetlana Burova is a highly experienced Principal Scientist with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, holding a Ph.D. from Emory University. Currently at Corden Pharma since July 2015, Svetlana has excelled in developing and optimizing proprietary chemistry routes for oncology generic drug substances, as well as improving crystallization protocols. Prior experience includes a role as Scientist II at Hospira, focusing on the transfer of processes to manufacturing, and as Principal Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, where Svetlana developed scalable processes for drug substances and intermediates. Education includes a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Higher Chemical College of the Russian Academy of Science.
