Mike Buter

Mike Buter has an extensive work history. Mike began their career in 1994 in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator and Nuclear Field Electronics Technician. After leaving the Navy in 2002, they joined Calpine as an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical (IC&E) Technician. In 2005, they moved to Pinnacle West Capital Corporation as an Operator/Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician. In 2007, they took on the role of O&M Manager at APSES and also became a Plant Manager at Clearway Energy, Inc. In the same year, they became the Director of Operations - West Region at Cordia. Mike'smost recent role ended in 2010 as the O&M Manager at APSES.

Mike Buter obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technologies from Thomas Edison State University in the years 2006 to 2007. Mike later pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, completing it from 2009 to 2011.
