Randall Martinez is the executive vice president and chief operating officer for Cordoba Corporation, a California-based multimillion dollar professional services firm. With 30 years of industry experience, Martinez directs and oversees the statewide operating sectors of the company while maintaining the organization’s position as a nationally recognized leader of public infrastructure development. Using an inclusive and empowering management style, he is primarily responsible for advancing the firm’s commitment to provide customized planning, engineering, management and construction services to meet client needs in the areas of transportation, water, energy and education facilities. With strong technical aptitude and savvy, his professional expertise and personal passion is focused on upholding the public’s trust.
Martinez exemplifies the firm’s mission of Making A Difference by protecting and developing communities in an appropriate and thoughtful manner while also providing civic leadership service. He serves as an advisory board member for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington D.C. and as a governing board member for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, the California-based Resources Legacy Fund, and the San Diego-based Council for Supplier Diversity. In 2015, he was appointed by the Attorney General to the California Energy Commission’s $3 Billion Clean Energy and Jobs Act (Proposition 39) Citizens Oversight Board.
From 1996 to 1999, he served as guest host of El Amanacer, a public affairs television program where he conducted live “on-air” interviews with political, civic and business leaders discussing issues related to arts, culture and business for the UPN network affiliate in the San Francisco Bay Area. His first book, Ten Days To Get To London – a European Backpacking Adventure was published in 2004.
Martinez earned his degree in business administration/finance from the University of Southern California. He is licensed in California as a general engineering contractor.

He has worked closely with developers, contractors and professional consultants with an emphasis in Federal, State and local government.
