Christel Cervantez is an experienced art educator and graphic designer with a diverse professional background. Currently, as a member of the Cordovan Art School since February 2021, Christel designs and implements comprehensive art curricula for students aged 5 to 12. Previously, Christel served as an Art Instructor for Young Rembrandts Franchise, fostering fundamental drawing and coloring skills in a nurturing environment. Prior experience includes roles as a Graphic Designer at Alamo Toyota, where Christel collaborated on imaginative campaigns, and as a Production Manager for COMPLETE weddings + events, providing leadership and training to a team of photographers and videographers. Christel's freelance graphic design work for Implant Concierge™ includes creating various marketing materials, and an early role as an Assessment Scorer at Pearson Assessments involved evaluating student responses. Christel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Cordovan School of the Arts was established to teach the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and photography in an environment that is positive, enjoyable, and allows students to progress and gain a better appreciation for the arts. Over the years, students who have gone through the program have been amazed at what they have accomplished after learning fundamental principles and time-tested techniques. We encourage anyone who enjoys the arts to come develop their talent with us at the Cordovan School of the Arts.
