Dustan Baker

Dustan Baker has extensive experience in industrial design, starting with their role as an Industrial Design Intern at Real Cool Products, LLC. in 1998. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Toy Designer at Solutions Toy Innovations. In 2002, Dustan joined Icon Development Group as a Product Designer, where they focused on creating novel design solutions for promotional products.

From 2004 to 2009, Dustan worked at Nagy Design as an Industrial Designer. Here, they were responsible for designing a broad range of products, including creating design styling concepts, constructing full-scale mock-ups, designing mechanical assemblies, and communicating with vendors to ensure manufacturability.

In 2009, Dustan became a partner at Sturgill Spearfishing, where they were involved in product design and development of spearfishing gear, custom speargun building, and marketing.

The same year, they also established their own company, Baker Design Studio, where they served as the Principal Industrial Designer. Their responsibilities included taking on multidisciplinary product development projects, from conceptual design to implementation and marketing collateral. Dustan's design concept creation involved utilizing sketches, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

In 2013, Dustan joined Karbon Group as the Industrial Design Lead. In this role, they served as the creative and technical lead, managing the junior design team and working on product design solutions for innovative inventions.

Since 2015, Dustan has been working as an Industrial Designer at Core Health & Fitness. No end date is provided for this role.

Dustan Baker earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Design from California State University, Long Beach. Dustan attended the university from 1995 to 2001.
