Eric Pinault

Eric Pinault has held several roles in the IT field since 2007. Eric began their career as a Computer Technician at Raven Computer Company in 2007. In 2015, they joined StratusPointIT as a Service Delivery & Escalations Engineer, Systems Administrator, Sr Field Engineer, and Technical Support Analyst. In 2021, they began working as the Director of IT and DevOps Systems Engineer at CORE Higher Education Group. During their time at StratusPointIT, Eric managed implementation and administration of Virtual Environments utilizing VMWare vSphere vCenter and Hyper-V, including Linux, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Domain Controllers, Application Servers, IIS, Group Policy, Active Directory, Fileservers, and access permissions, as well as Azure, Azure SQL, O365, and Amazon Web Services AWS. Eric also maintained high-level system security by updating fire-walls, remote access systems, security patch updates, SLA certificates, encryption, and anti-virus software through various management portals.

Eric Pinault's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science with a focus in Marine Affairs and Geoscience from the University of Rhode Island, which they completed in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Seekonk High School. In addition to their formal education, Eric also holds certifications from Microsoft, the U.S. Department of Labor, CompTIA, and Datto, Inc. These certifications include the Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Administration Fundamentals (MTA) obtained in June 2019, OSHA Injury & Recordkeeping obtained in November 2013, OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety obtained in October 2013, CompTIA A+ ce, and Technical Specialist II from Datto, Inc.
