Mark Whittenburg

Mark Whittenburg is the current General Counsel and Secretary at Core & Main. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Legal at Autoliv Asia from August 2014 to September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team of attorneys and other professionals who were responsible for all legal issues across the $3B region, which included commercial transactions, employment matters, litigation, regulatory affairs, product liability, intellectual property, counterfeit products and government interactions.

Some of their notable accomplishments while in this role include negotiating joint venture buy-outs, divestitures and other transactions with joint venture partners, as well as leading other M&A activity, conducting or overseeing all legal and compliance investigations in the region, negotiating and executing complex commercial transactions with automotive OEMs and suppliers, and working closely with quality team and regulatory agencies to identify and resolve product concerns, including recalls or other field actions.

Mark Whittenburg received a B.A. in Biology from Hanover College, with minors in Chemistry and Sociology. Mark then went on to Wilmington high school before earning their J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

They work with Chris Conde - Regional Vice President, Northeast Region, Ryan Johnson - Regional Vice President, Southeast Region, and Laura Schneider - Chief Human Resources Officer. Their manager is Steve LeClair, Chief Executive Officer.
