Human Resources Director, Canada at Core-Mark

Debbie Clayton has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Debbie began their career at RONA in 1999 as an Operations Manager, overseeing various aspects of store operations. From 2000 to 2006, they served as a Human Resources Advisor at RONA, providing support in HR-related initiatives.

In 2007, Clayton joined Sears Canada as an Area Human Resources Manager, where they acted as a resource and counselor to corporate stores, parts and service, and home installed business in designated GTA units. Debbie built strong relationships with managers, HR leads, and associates while promoting the Sears corporate culture.

Clayton then transitioned to become a Human Resources Manager at Sears Canada between 2008 and 2010. In this role, they were tasked with improving associate relations in a recently unionized facility, managing up to 700 associates. Debbie also served as an HR business partner to 14 managers and 54 people leaders.

Most recently, Clayton has been working at Core-Mark International, starting in 2011. Debbie initially held the role of Human Resources Manager before being promoted to the position of Human Resources Director for Canada in February 2022.
