Aaron Preece's work experience is mainly in the coal industry. Aaron started their career in 2010 at Arch Coal, Inc. as a Maintenance Superintendent and later served as a Plant Superintendent. Aaron then worked as a Manager of Coal Preparation and Manager of Surface Handling and Coal Preparation. Aaron also held the role of Manager of Support Facilities before becoming a Director of Process Improvement. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Director of Market Optimization. In 2019, they joined Arch Coal, Inc. Coal-Mac as the General Manager before eventually becoming the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Arch Coal, Inc.
Aaron Preece earned a Bachelor's degree in RBA from Marshall University in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, pursuing a degree in Mine Management.
