Tony V. Locklear is an Indigenous public health leader and harm reductionist currently serving as the Harm Reduction Program Manager at CORE and an Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. With over two decades of experience in addiction recovery and Indigenous health, they have held various roles, including Quality Improvement Coordinator at the Hoke County Health Department and Executive Director of Native American Interfaith Ministries. Tony specializes in designing and evaluating culturally grounded public health programs and is committed to advancing health equity and social justice. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health Education and Promotion at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
