Richard Horowitz

Richard Horowitz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Richard currently serves as the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at Core Scientific, where they lead the financial analysis and planning functions to support the digital asset economy. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at the same company.

Previously, Richard was the Founder and Owner of Silver Screen Home Theater, a home-theater business specializing in front-projection video systems. Richard managed online sales and consulting, developed relationships with manufacturers and distributors, and presented recommendations to industry leaders.

Richard also worked at Spacelabs Healthcare as the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, responsible for driving revenue growth and cost reduction initiatives. Richard also held the role of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at the same company.

At Microsoft, Richard held various finance positions, including Senior Finance Manager, Finance Manager, Business Analyst Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst. In these roles, they provided financial support to game development teams, managed budgets and forecasts, and analyzed monetization strategies.

Additionally, Richard worked as a Revenue Analyst at Kelly Financial Resources, where they performed management reporting activities and identified revenue opportunities and cost savings. Prior to that, they were an Analyst at Marketframes Group, where they identified financial modeling errors and created dynamic financial models.

Richard began their career at Intel Corporation, where they worked as an Enterprise Applications Analyst and Inventory Analyst. In these roles, they managed reporting requirements, analyzed data, and drove cost reductions.
