Matthew Claeys

Matthew Claeys is the Managing Director of Global Institutional Capital at Core Spaces, where they identify and align with institutional investors for the company's student housing and build-to-rent strategies. They are a member of Core Spaces' acquisition committee and executive management team. Previously, Matthew served as Executive Vice President at Heitman, where they maintained relationships with institutional investors across private and public real estate sectors. With extensive experience at firms such as Blue Vista Capital Management and Inland Institutional Capital Partners, Matthew has been instrumental in capital raising and advising on transactions exceeding $5 billion. They hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver and are involved in multiple industry associations.
