Awny Al-Omari is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and innovation within the AI and analytics domains. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering-AI at Core42, Awny has held key leadership positions including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect at Incorta, and various roles at Teradata including Chief Architect for Teradata Aster and Engineering Fellow. A distinguished technologist at Hewlett-Packard and a software designer at Compaq Computers, Awny brings a wealth of expertise from both practical and theoretical backgrounds, supported by a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed between 1990 and 1996.
