Roopal Jobanputra

Roopal Jobanputra currently serves as General Counsel at Core42 since October 2023 and has held the position of Deputy General Counsel at Group 42 since September 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Associate at Gowling WLG UK from October 2010 to September 2019, where Roopal advised international clients on various corporate matters, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and Islamic finance structures. Additionally, Roopal worked as Legal Counsel at Mashreqbank, focusing on corporate advice and Islamic Financing, and was a Solicitor in the Corporate group at Field Fisher Waterhouse from August 2005 to April 2009. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, London, and a degree in Law and French Law from UCL.
