Howah Hung has a wealth of experience in the legal field. Howah began their career as a Summer Associate at DLA Piper in 2008, followed by a Law Clerk position at Russo Keane & Toner. In 2009, they held a Judicial Extern position at Hon. Kevin Nathaniel Fox and a position as an Attorney and Contracts Officer at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In 2013, they opened their own practice, HUNG, PLLC. In 2015, they became the Assistant General Counsel & Lead Counsel, Research and Industrial Collaborations at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2021, they joined Constellation Pharmaceuticals as the Sr. Director, Sr. Legal & IP Counsel. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Sr. Director, Sr. IP & Licensing Counsel at Design Therapeutics, where their responsibilities include working closely with the Head of IP, overseeing IP competitive intelligence, facilitating business development, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.

Howah Hung received a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2009. Prior to that, they studied Chemistry, Anthropology, and Russian Language at New York University from 2002 to 2006.
