Sarah Albarri

Sarah AlBarri is an Applied NLP Scientist currently working at Inception and Core42, both positions held since September 2023 and November 2024, respectively. Previously, Sarah served as a Researcher and Graduate Student at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence from August 2021 to August 2023, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Etihad in mid-2022, where a multi-label classification model for customer reviews was developed using BERT models. Earlier experience includes roles as an MEP Survey Engineer at Fast Building Contractors and as a Graduate and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the American University of Sharjah. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Machine Learning with a focus on NLP from MBZUAI and additional Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah.
