Katharina Byerly

Katharina Byerly serves as Vice President and Head of IT Regulatory, Technology Risk & Controls at Corebridge Financial since September 2022, focusing on enhancing IT Regulatory Compliance. Prior to this, Katharina held various roles at AIG from October 2016 to September 2022, including Assistant Vice President of Global IT Regulatory, Risk and Compliance, where notable contributions included leading the IT Regulatory Portfolio and developing compliance strategies for significant cybersecurity and data privacy regulations. Experience also includes IT Risk Management at KPMG US, where responsibilities involved executing IT SOX Audit engagements and assessing risk management processes, as well as sales management roles at MKTG and as an Independent Contractor. Katharina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston, alongside other educational credentials in nanotechnology and mathematics.
