Matthew Dawes

Matthew Dawes serves as the Managing Director and COO of Global Capital Markets at Corebridge Financial since September 2022, overseeing Business Operations and Strategy, including Corporate Governance and New Product Implementation. Previously, Matthew held the position of Director at AIG for nine years, focusing on similar responsibilities in Global Capital Markets. Prior to AIG, Matthew worked at Credit Suisse as Vice President of New Business, contributing to product implementation and efficiency management. Earlier experiences include positions at Lehman Brothers, Booz Allen Hamilton, BearingPoint, Inc., and UBS. Matthew holds an MBA in Management and Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BA in History and Political Science from Providence College.
