Lana Sandas

Lana Sandas is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in corrections, social solutions, and community development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategic Development at CoreCivic, Lana focuses on providing innovative and cost-effective government solutions. Prior to this role, Lana was the Director of Social Solutions for G4S in Australia and New Zealand, where efforts concentrated on creating viable alternatives to incarceration through community partnerships. As Business Development Director at Serco, Lana established the Alternative Justice business line, emphasizing non-custodial practices. Lana's extensive experience includes leadership roles in various organizations, such as Chief Executive Officer at the Women's Justice Network, where significant reductions in recidivism rates were achieved. Lana holds a Bachelor of Social Science from UNSW and a Community Services degree from TAFE NSW, complemented by a commitment to youth engagement and drug prevention initiatives.
