Maliendra de S. Gunawardena

Maliendra de S. Gunawardena currently serves as Acting Sr Associate, Accounts at CoreLogic Australia since April 2023, having gained extensive experience in accounting and finance through a previous secondment role. Prior to this, Maliendra held the position of Associate Client Services from July 2021 to February 2023, providing exceptional customer service to various stakeholders. Academic accomplishments include serving as a PhD Candidate at the University of Colombo from January 2016 to October 2021 and a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at SLIIT from February 2009 to August 2019. Additional experience includes roles in taxation and bookkeeping, retail volunteering, and management within the textile industry. Maliendra holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the Australian Institute of Technology Transfer. Contributions to Toastmasters International include serving as President and various other leadership roles.
