Dr Sven-Marian Berneburg has been the responsible representative of various institutional investors for 15 years. His active experience ranges from pension schemes and insurance companies to regulated and unregulated asset managers and a capital investment company. His focus has always been on illiquid capital investments, especially real estate, real estate lending business and infrastructure, which he has managed both directly and indirectly. He is a member of various supervisory bodies, advisory boards and investment committees.
Dr Berneburg studied at the University of London (Birkbeck College) and did his doctorate in the field of asset pricing and financial market bubbles at Martin Luther University, Halle-Wittenberg. In addition to his doctorate, Dr. Berneburg holds an MBA in Real Estate Management from the HTW-Berlin, is a Chartered Surveyor of the RICS and an active member of the real estate risk management competence group of gif eV Dr. Sven-Marian Berneburg has been a member of the Corestate Supervisory Board since December 2, 2022.
