Alex Cannizzaro

Alex Cannizzaro is an experienced engineer currently working as an HPC Operations Engineer at CoreWeave since April 2024. Prior to this role, extensive experience was gained at General Motors from July 2020 to April 2024, holding various positions including Wireless Battery Management Software Engineer and Battery Issue Resolution Engineer. Additional roles at General Motors included Advanced Infotainment Technician Specialist Assistant, Battery Electronics Engineer, and Infotainment Test Fleet Engineer. Alex also served as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Baker Hughes, a GE company, during two separate stints in 2018 and 2019, and completed an internship at Atlantic Crypto in June 2018. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University, expected to be completed in December 2025. Education also includes attendance at the Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center from 2012 to 2016.
