Lavanya Shukla

Lavanya Shukla is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at CoreWeave since May 2025, following the acquisition of Weights & Biases. Lavanya is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council since October 2023. Previously, Lavanya held various leadership roles at Weights & Biases from February 2020 to May 2025, including Vice President of AI, Vice President of Growth, and Head of Growth, focused on establishing the company as the premier toolset for machine learning engineers and researchers. Prior to that, Lavanya founded and served as CTO of Dataland, a platform designed for dataset collaboration and discovery, which aimed to automate data wrangling processes for data scientists and machine learning professionals. Lavanya holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
