Robert Drab

Robert Drab is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in metallurgy, engineering, and woodworking. Following retirement in December 2021, Robert established Simply Woodworking, designing unique woodcraft products. Prior to retirement, Robert served as a Metallurgist and Quality Manager at Corey Steel Company since October 2012, focusing on carbon and alloy steel production. From February 2003 to September 2012, Robert was the Applications Manager and Technical Support Specialist at Schmolz + Bickenbach USA, Inc./Ugitech USA, where responsibilities included supporting sales and technical needs. Robert also held various positions in research and development at Carpenter Technology from 1977 to 2003. Robert holds an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy from Drexel University.
