Jaroslav Jelinek has extensive experience in the field of medical research. Jaroslav currently holds the position of Chief Research Officer at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Professor at Temple University School of Medicine from July 2017 to February 2019 and as a Research Associate Professor from September 2011 to June 2017 at the same institution. Before joining Temple University, they served as a Research Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from February 2003 to September 2011 and as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine from July 2001 to February 2003. Jaroslav'scareer in medical research began in 1985 at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, where they held various roles including Head of the Department of Cell Physiology and Research Scientist until 2001. In addition, they have also gained research experience as a Research Fellow at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research from 1993 to 1994, and as a Research Fellow and Research Training Fellowship from 1986 to 1990.
Jaroslav Jelinek completed their MD degree in Medicine at Charles University from 1973 to 1979. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD in Physiology at the same university, completing their doctoral studies from 1980 to 1985.
