Matthew Mitchell

Matthew Mitchell has extensive experience in the medical research field. Matthew currently holds the position of Director of Repository Business Services at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Professor and Program Manager at the same institute. Matthew also worked as a Co-Principal Investigator from April 2019 to June 2020.

Matthew has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University since January 2020. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from November 2017 to April 2019 and at Drexel University from May 2014 to November 2017.

Matthew'scareer in research began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Albany from January 2013 to May 2014. Matthew also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution from September 2009 to December 2012. Matthew started their professional journey as a Research Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital from June 2006 to July 2009.

Matthew Mitchell completed their education, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY. Matthew pursued this degree from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and Music from Colby College, attending from 2002 to 2006.
