Lyuba Docheva

Lyuba Docheva currently serves as an Associate Partner and Lead Counsel for Alternative Investments at Corient, where responsibilities include overseeing legal matters related to private fund formation. In addition, Lyuba holds the position of Officer at Corient Registered Alternatives Fund. Prior experience includes roles as Associate General Counsel at Cerberus Capital Management and as a Vice President with oversight of Legal & Compliance Operations. Earlier career stages were spent at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where Lyuba was involved in legal matters for various financial services, as well as impact litigation work with the Socio-Economic Rights Institute of South Africa. Academic qualifications include a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Princeton University, along with additional language and cultural studies.
