Raymond D. Turner IV

Chief Medical Officer, Neuroendovascular at Corindus

Dr. Raymond D. Turner, IV is our Chief Medical Officer for Neurovascular. He was appointed to this role in early 2021 to lead clinical science and global trial strategy for our neurovascular robotics program. In addition to his role at Corindus, Dr. Turner serves as Neurosurgeon and Neuro-endovascular Surgeon at PRISMA Health in South Carolina. Prior to joining PRISMA in 2018, he practiced at the Medical University of South Carolina for more than ten years. He is also Professor of Neurosurgery at the USC College of Medicine in Greenville.

Dr. Turner completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Sacred Heart University and earned his medical degree in Poznan, Poland. His specialty and fellowship training were completed at the Cleveland Clinic in Neurological Surgery and Endovascular Neurosurgery respectively. While at MUSC, he served as Neurosurgery Residency Program Director and Chief of Neurosciences.
