Darlene Westen

Darlene Westen has over two decades of experience in technical writing, training, and instructional design, with a focus on IT systems and software applications. Currently, Darlene serves in middle management at Nexus Water Group, where responsibilities include providing training on IT software and developing the latest versions of MS Office and SharePoint systems. Previous roles include technical writing and training positions at Guard RFID Solutions Inc., BC Ferries, and WorkSafeBC, among others, where Darlene created user manuals, designed training programs, and facilitated hands-on training sessions. Darlene's early career involved instructional design at Telcom Training and software training and analysis at Epic Data. Educational background includes studies at Vancouver Community College.
