Dónal Keane

Dónal Keane is an experienced maritime professional and educator with a diverse background in maritime operations and management. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer at Munster Technological University since October 2020, Dónal previously held the position of Operations Team Lead at Zenith Energy L.P. from February 2020 to October 2020. Dónal spent over a decade at Chevron, advancing to the rank of Chief Officer while managing oil tankers. Additional sailing experience includes serving as Chief Officer aboard the tall ship Pelican of London and Bosun on the sail training brigantine Asgard II. Dónal holds multiple degrees in Nautical Science and an M.Sc. in International Maritime Management from Jade Hochschule, contributing extensive knowledge and practical skills to the maritime field.
