Marlene Fernane

Marlene Fernane is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in student support and event coordination, currently serving as a Student Support Services Officer and Academic Affairs & Admissions representative at the Institute of Technology, Tralee since May 2014. Marlene has held various roles within the institution, including involvement in the Department of Computing, Creative Media & Information Technology. Prior experience includes a position as a Marketing Assistant at Aspen Grove Solutions, where database management and sales support were key responsibilities, and serving as the Arts & Cultural Event Coordinator for Kerry County Council, where Marlene managed the annual Culture Night Kerry event. Additionally, Marlene has worked as an Event Administrator for the Kerry Film Festival, held the role of Mature Students Officer with the Institute of Technology Tralee Students' Union, and coordinated the cultural program for the European Congress in Adapted Physical Activity. Marlene holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Travel and Tourism Management and a Certificate in Business Management from Munster Technological University.
