Mary Rose Stafford

Mary Rose Stafford is a seasoned academic and industry professional currently serving as the Executive Head of School for Business, Computing & Humanities at Munster Technological University since January 2021 and as Head of School at the Institute of Technology, Tralee since July 2017. With extensive experience in hospitality and tourism, Mary Rose has managed the Irish Academy of Hospitality & Tourism at ITT since its establishment in 2012, fostering connections and research in the sector. Previously, Mary Rose served on the Board of Failte Ireland, appointed by the Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, and held various leadership roles at the Institute of Technology Tralee and hospitality establishments, including the Brandon Hotel and Essex House Hotel Nikko New York. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Studies in Tourism from ITT and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Hotel Management from DIT.
